Uranus in Gemini: Chaotic Neutral

Guys, the outer planets are so mysterious. Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto: they all carry some level of karmic gravitas. And with their heaviness, they can be unexpectedly comforting in their years long presence in each sign throughout our lives. Like grandparents (Saturn), weird uncles (Uranus), cool aunts (Neptune), and personal heroes (Pluto), they coach us through life events and cycles that we're not sure we can handle on our own. In Greek mythology, Uranus was the co-octave of Saturn, a chthonic father figure who creates the titans and essentially leaves the universe on read after that. Uranus symbolizes strokes of genius and the birth of insight--violently shaking the void in an effort to move humanity forward.  It manifests in our lives as a cosmic lightning strike which illuminates at the same time it scorches. 

When Uranus changes signs, we’re changing out the bathwater on issues related to freedom and revolution in the collective as well as our daily lives. Instinctively and suddenly, as Uranus makes its way into Gemini from July, everything that once suited you perfectly feels utterly wrong. You may immediately feel forced to make changes that you weren't anticipating for years to come. Because of the nature of Uranus, these changes will be suddenly illuminated as a surprise or accident. You will not be allowed much preparation, and it has a tendency to trigger a domino effect of changes elsewhere as you're focusing on the first lightning strike. It is usually most chaotic in the initial phase, starting July 7th but the influence will mature over the next 7 years. You will gradually get used to the disruption and make friends with the area of your life or the planets that it is impacting.
